Stems Mastering
Stem mastering allows for more precise intervention than conventional stereo mastering by working from separately exported subgroups of the mix. This approach provides greater flexibility over overall balance, dynamics, stereo width and the handling of key elements, while fully respecting the intent of the original mix.
When the track calls for it, this method allows the final result to be refined more closely before analogue finishing brings cohesion, depth, dimension and musicality to the whole.
